Round 3
78 Artists // 11 Partnerships // 67 Projects // 36 Gatherings

As we listened and learned from the artists’ experiences in Round 2, we refined our language and our ways of working as the idea of a community emerged. Not because we identified it, but because the artists participating named it so.
Listening Reports
When Quiet set out to explore a new approach to supporting artists and their role in society, we held one commitment as our compass rose: We would be a learning community evolving quietly, constantly asking questions of ourselves, and of others’ experiences of us, with the answers informing our culture and our ways of working.
Through our learning journey, we have engaged in a deeper exploration of the artist’s experience, which directly informed Quiet’s community, programming, collaboration, agreements, and storytelling. With the support of an independent research team, we have been able to develop ways of working that can be shared with kindred artists and organizations.
